Board of Directors Nominations

Dance Nova Scotia is calling for applications for nominations for election to the DANCE NOVA SCOTIA Board of Directors. The nominating committee will then review these recommendations and present a slate of candidates to the Annual General Meeting. Members of Dance Nova Scotia may also be nominated from the floor by other members at the Annual General Meeting. Each nomination at the meeting requires a mover and a seconder.

Once elected, board members sit as independent directors and not as direct representatives of their school or organization. They do, however, bring the viewpoint and concerns of the dance discipline and the region from which they come, and in this respect it is valuable to have a member on the Dance NS board.
