Programs are at the heart of Dance Nova Scotia’s mandated activity to encourage, promote and support dance as a cultural, educational, social, recreational and healthful activity for Nova Scotians of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. As part of that mandate, we are committed to building programs that bring dance to a broad range of Nova Scotians, from children to adults. It is our quest to make access to those programs FREE whenever possible. Currently, programs such as BreakSpace, Tango to Balance or free for anyone who wishes to attend the classes and practices. Taking Steps to Fly (Young Choreographer's Showcase) does not have a submission fee and is open to any participant who meets the age restrictions.
If you value the work we are doing and the experiences we are building to give Nova Scotians access to dance programming, please consider a donation to help us maintain our activities. You can do that by contacting the Dance Nova Scotia office or by visiting Canada Helps.
