Symphony NS and Ballet Jörgen present: Coppélia

Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, Dalhousie University, Halifax

Friday, April 12 at 7:30pm - 10:00pm

Experience one of the world’s oldest and best-loved ballets live in Halifax with Symphony Nova Scotia and Canada’s Ballet Jörgen! Coppélia tells the funny, fantastical tale of an eccentric toymaker and his greatest creation – a beautiful dancing doll so lifelike that it causes an uproar in its small village. With clever, witty choreography and a bright, lighthearted score by French ballet master Léo Delibes, this merry tale of love, life, and mistaken identity is an enchanting experience that will delight young and old alike.

“It’s a sort of French Nutcracker – and a delightful one at that.” – Classic FM
“The entire Jörgen Company fills the stage with such exquisite life you are swept along for an entertaining ride.” - The Hamilton Spectator
