David's work is grounded in flamenco and classical Spanish dance. As a choreographer, he has been commissioned by various flamenco companies in Spain and abroad, such as Rafael Amargo, or for Shoji Kojima’s flamenco company in Japan. David visited Halifax in 2011 and 2016 as a guest artist with the Atlantic Flamenco Festival, his classes were very popular and we are very excited to have him back online! David will be teaching these 4 free sample classes during international dance week and depending on the response from students, he will teach 45 minute long classes during the month of May.
